The light-duty 2020 Nissan Titan that is coming to town will have a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter, Endurance® V-8 engine under the hood that will be attached to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Owners can expect the standard powertrain to make 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. In fact, the engine used by the 2020 Titan will be the most powerful standard V-8 engine in its class, when the gas tank is filled with premium fuel.
Towing and hauling are going to be some of the most common uses for the upcoming 2020 Nissan Titan. When the truck is properly equipped, 2020 Titan owners will be able to pull loads up to 9,370 pounds. Engineers have built the truck’s chassis using a fully boxed, full-length ladder frame that will be able to haul 1,680 pounds of payload in the cargo bed. The new Trailer Light Check system will allow a single person to check that turn signals, brake lights and clearance lights are working by themselves.
