Hopefully, everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving that was just restful enough to get them ready for the rest of the holiday season. A required element to any successful holiday schedule is planning. A few Charlie Clark Nissan product experts were discussing their plans for attending 2019 Christmas events near Brownsville, TX and we thought others might need benefit from the inspiration. Our area has a lot to offer in terms of Christmas and other holiday cheer. The three events we picked out for this list cover a lot of ground. Visit Santa at Sunrise Mall

Tues.-Sat. starting at 10 a.m.
Sundays starting at Noon.

Other than Christmas morning, the annual trip to the mall to visit Santa Claus is at the top of a lot of kids’ to-do lists. The mall staff has already set up Santa’s village in Center Court at Sunrise Mall near Bealls. Santa will be available to hear Christmas wishes Tuesday through Saturday starting at 10 a.m. He’s also working on Sundays, starting at noon. He does take a break to feed the reindeer between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. most days.

 

Christmas Tree Forest Exhibit

The Brownsville Historical Association will be kicking off its second annual Christmas Tree Forest Exhibit on Dec. 10 and it will run until Jan. 4, 2020. This is a community-curated showcase that will put our fellow citizen’s talents on display. Public and private entities have been invited to participate. This could be an interesting and low-stress day out with the family.

 

Incredible Santa Virtual Run Walk

Lots of people have been getting themselves in better shape by running in 5K races. The Incredible Santa Virtual Run Walk makes this activity as convenient as possible by not having a set time or place. Participants can participate when and where they want and submit their times on a website to see where they finish. Click here to find out more information.
