About Nissan ProPILOT Assist
This technology works hard so that the driver does not have to. With the press of two buttons, the driver can focus on keeping his or her eyes on the road while the vehicle slows down and speeds up with traffic. To turn the system on, the driver presses the blue ProPILOT Assist on button which is on the steering wheel. Then, once you attain the speed you wish, turn on the Intelligent Cruise Control System.

How does Nissan ProPILOT Assist work?
Nissan ProPILOT uses a forward-facing camera, forward-facing radar, sensors, and a control monitor to help the driver stay in the middle of the lane and to keep a consistent speed. This technology also recognizes when traffic slows and will slow the vehicle down without the driver having to press the brakes. To resume speed, after being in a traffic jam, the driver can touch the accelerator pedal or press the resume button on the steering wheel.

What Nissan vehicles come with ProPILOT Assist?
As of right now, there are four Nissan vehicles that have ProPILOT Assist available. They are the 2019 Nissan Rogue, 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport, 2019 Nissan LEAF, and the 2020 Nissan Altima.
