New Features for 2020
Like the rest of the Nissan 2020 lineup, the new Kicks crossover SUV makes the Nissan Safety Shield® 360 suite standard equipment across the board. Nissan Safety Shield® suite includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. Each of these individual systems works together to help keep drivers and their passengers away from potentially dangerous situations.
Performance and Efficiency
Nissan continues to use the same very efficient powertrain for the 2020 Kicks. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to the Xtronic continuously variable transmission. It will make 122 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. According to the new information released by Nissan, the 2020 Kicks will be able to achieve 31 miles per gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway.
Connectivity Technology
Being able to integrate outside technology into the daily commute is almost required for a modern crossover SUV to succeed. The 2020 Nissan Kicks SV and SR trims come with the NissanConnect® infotainment system that will also have access to the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. However, all trims will offer iPod® compatibility, a USB port, Bluetooth connectivity and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls.
